| Nigel Lowrie Profile: With over 20 years experience in IT, Nigel has focused on products strategy, product innovation and technical strategy, now holding the position of Chief Technology Officer (Technical Director) at a growing UK based retail software group.
As an innovator and excellent communicator, Nigel has been able to lead the technical strategy both internally and with clients and partners.
As a strong relationship manager, Nigel has been responsible for delivering key accounts to the business as well as acting as account trouble-shooter, recovering failing accounts.
Major Achievements:
- Innovation: Has architected, designed and been responsible for delivering the companies next generation EPoS product. Delivered product innovation in all areas, including pre-sales, account and products development. This innovation has lead to major tier one sales, new sales and substantial account development.
- Sales / Accounts: Delivered tier one sales through an ability to realize and articulate product propositions, strong relationship management, technical vision and technical innovation. Known as an ‘account trouble-shooter’ – has worked difficult and sick accounts back to health. Keenly focused ‘radar for business’, delivering new business sales as well as monies from existing business accounts.
- Technical Vision / Strategy: Acting as the principle technical authority for the group, responsible for technical vision and strategy. Instrumental in realizing this strategy based on Microsoft .Net technologies, across four product sets - each through company acquisition. Has worked with partners and clients to develop and build their business’s technical vision and strategies.
- Business: A major player in building a product focused company, from cash neutral to over £4m turnover, £250k EBIT in 4 years. Working at all levels from group board to operational. Strong relationship manager, responsible for managing key accounts, business partners and clients. Able to communicate with technical, business technical and non-technical partners, clients and staff.
